【14 Unintentional but Damaging Hair Habits】

Bad Habits Related to Washing Hair:

1. Delaying Washing Hair and Relying on Hair Volumizing Powder

 - This can clog hair follicles and create a vicious cycle.

2. Not Thoroughly Pre-rinsing the Scalp Before Washing

- You should pre-rinse for 1-2 minutes.

3. Using Too Little Shampoo or Not Rinsing Shampoo Thoroughly

4. Brushing Wet Hair While Washing

 - Wet hair has the highest friction, causing damage to hair strands.

5. Not Using Conditioner

- Conditioner cares for the hair strands and is unrelated to oily scalp.

6. Leaving Conditioner on for Too Long or Frequent Water Treatments

- Water can damage hair quality; be cautious of over-hydration,

especially for those with high porosity.

7. Going to Bed with Wet Hair Without Drying the Scalp

 - This can lead to Malassezia (fungal infection), seborrheic dermatitis, scalp acne, itching, and faster oil production.

- Hair can suffer damage from both water and UV/heat exposure.
